VW will also present an exclusive concept called 'buggy up!' at the motor show. VW is planning to launch production of the eco Up! with compressed natural gas (CNG) engines in the future, along with an electric-engine version called the e-Up! in 2013. The production of Up! models in Bratislava required an investment of €308 million and it created 2,000 new jobs directly at the plant and thousands more with suppliers.
