Science Night, the largest science festival in Slovakia, returns with lectures, discussions, experiments, workshops, digital activities and more. This year’s theme is CHAOS! – from cosmic equations and the butterfly effect to the Mayan civilisation and today’s digital world.
The main programme takes place in Stará tržnica, with additional events in V-club, Lab.cafe and the Polish Institute. Admission is free, but registration is required for some lectures via the web.

Battle of Bratislava
Saturday, 27 September, 10:00 – 19:00, Sad Janka Kráľa
The Battle of Bratislava festival returns, bringing history to life with period camps, crafts, lectures, music, and a reconstruction of the 1621 siege.
Visitors can look forward to military manoeuvres, a historical parade, discussions, and live performances throughout the day.

Karlova Ves Feast
Friday–Sunday, 26–28 September, Karlova Ves (St. Francis Square, Líščie údolie, St. Michael’s Church)
The Karloveské hody festival returns with a rich weekend of cultural, sporting and social activities.
You can enjoy craft stalls, concerts, dance shows, food and drinks, attractions for children and adults, as well as accompanying events such as pony rides, face painting, community alley, festive train rides and rescue service demonstrations. The programme takes place at St. Francis Square, Líščie údolie, St. Michael’s Church and other local venues.
