Slovak football players are fighting their first match ever at the World Cup on Tuesday afternoon, June 15, against New Zealand. In the match of the F-Group in Rustenburg Slovakia will field almost the same line-up as in its rehearsal match against Costa Rica, the TASR newswire wrote.
Coach Vladimír Weiss decided to make just one change. Instead of Miroslav Stoch on left wing,
Erik Jendrišek will have a chance to show his skills.
The coach of the New Zeland team, Ricki Herbert, published the names of his players a day earlier.
The two teams were brought to the Royal Bafokeng Stadium by the main referee, Jerome Damon of South Africa.
