Slovak ice hockey player Martin Pospíšil has topped this year's list of the NHL's most penalised players, dubbed "the naughty list" by Canadian portal Sportsnet.
The 25-year-old Calgary Flames forward amassed a total of 146 penalty minutes from January 1 to December 24 this year.
He was followed by Russian defenceman Nikita Zadorov, with 133 minutes. The list of the most penalised players during this period was compiled by Sportsnet.
A group of six other players has also exceeded the 100-minute mark: Ross Johnston, Mathieu Olivier, Garnet Hathaway, Radko Gudas, Jason Zucker and Brady Tkachuk.
Pospíšil most recently displayed his physical style over the weekend in a game against the Chicago Blackhawks. He delivered a hard hit on Blackhawks star Connor Bedard, followed by another on forward Frank Nazar.
After the second hit, Ryan Donato confronted him, and Pospíšil later engaged in a fight with Tyler Bertuzzi towards the end of the match, accumulating a total of 16 penalty minutes.
