Slovakia lost another world championship match

The team lost all three points in the game against Switzerland.

The Slovak national hockey team lost also its second match at the 2018 IIHF World Championship in Denmark against Switzerland. The game ended 0:2.

Tristan Scherwey and Mirco Müller scored for Switzerland.

Slovakia still has 1 point in the preliminary round.

The Slovaks are playing in group A of the preliminary round held in Copenhagen, Denmark. They will face teams from Austria, Belarus, the Czech Republic, France, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland.

Based on current IIHF World Rankings, Slovakia is currently ranked 10th, while Switzerland is 8th.
