Bratislava Carnival

March 1, 10:00 – 18:00, at Námestie Nežnej revolúcie (Velvet Revolution square).

Bratislava’s Carnival brings a full day of festivities with music, dance, and traditional celebrations.

The event kicks off at Námestie Nežnej revolúcie with a morning program for children, including folk dance lessons, puppet theatre, and interactive performances. At 16:30, the Big Carnival Parade will fill the streets from Hviezdoslavovo Square to Stará tržnica with music, masks, and lively entertainment.

Workshops at the Old Market Hall will offer mask-making, face painting, and digital art experiences. The evening program features live music, Latin dance, a mask contest, and a vibrant afterparty.
