The Amsterdam Orchestra (Het Orkest Amsterdam) is a symphony orchestra full of passionate and advanced amateur musicians. The orchestra rehearses every Tuesday evening in Amsterdam and plays three surprise concert programmes a year, including in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Hilversum and Haarlem.

They play at well-known concert venues in the Netherlands such as De Duif, Dominicuskerk, Paradiso, MCO, Philharmonie Haarlem or the Concertgebouw.

Entry is free - but you can also contribute with a voluntary entry fee.

The Janko Kráľ Garden will come alive for one day with a mediaeval atmosphere. More than 120 history enthusiasts from various corners of Slovakia and the Czech Republic will recreate a piece of history for you.

You can look forward to a day full of fun that culminates in the reconstruction of a field battle, in which more than 70 warriors will participate. In addition to tournaments and fencing performances, you can try archery or learn something new at a period dance workshop and a circus workshop.

Friday, June 7, at 20:00 in Dom U dobrého pastiera (Mikulášska 2)

Have you experienced the evening atmosphere at the corner of Beblavého and Židovská street? A DJ will play in front of the Dom U dobrého pastiera.

In 1975, it was reconstructed and the City Museum opened a unique exhibition of historical clocks, where various types of clocks from the 17th to the beginning of the 20th century are exhibited. Mainly it focuses on clocks from the 18th and 19th centuries made in the workshops of Bratislava masters.

On this occasion, free admission to the Clock Exhibition awaits you, where you will be able to see an old sundial and learn about how the methods of measuring time have changed.
