The Dreveník national natural reservation near the village of Žehra in the Spiš region is a UNESCO site. These are the biggest travertine massifs in Slovakia, Spiš Korzár reported.
The remains of human and animal skeletons have been found here along with plant and animal fossils classified as the oldest findings from primary settlements in eastern Slovakia.
There are three inaccessible caves, Peklo (Hell) gorge and many formations in the rocky town of Stony Paradise. When the weather is nice, it offers a spectacular view of the High Tatras, Spiš Korzár wrote.
