Horehronský Express, a train from the mid-20th century, transports tourists on what used to be a significant train route connecting central and eastern Slovakia.

The train takes off every Friday and Saturday from Brezno and travels in two different directions during the summer until August 31. The route via Red Rock to the village of Mlynky offers splendid views of the Low Tatras, passing through unique technical monuments Strakošský Viaduct, Telgártska Slučka and Chmarošský Viaduct, up to the beauties of Dobšinská Ice Cave and Slovak Paradise.

Those abroad the express can explore his homeland and chalet Zbojská, which serves as the entrance gate to the National Park Muránska Planina. Tourists can also discover several beauties of nature, ride in a horse carriage or walk to the impressive lookout tower.
