Finally, the Jasná ski resort will get a full-fledged centre for visitors. It is being built adjacent to the snow-making lake at the end of Demänovská Dolina valley. The operator of the ski resort, the Tatry Mountain Resorts company, called it a new entrance gate to the resort. A modern glassed construction with a square will appear at the foot of Chopok mountain.
Visitors can use it to shop, relax in a new bar – with a capacity of 120 seats – or as a point of learning and procuring everything for skiing.
“A very handy service will be the modern depot for putting aside skis,” the company informed, as quoted by the local newspaper MY Mikuláš. “After visitors stop skiing, they can deposit their skis there, and in the morning, they can find the dried skis and ski shoes by the ski slope.”
To achieve still greater comfort, the first escalators in the Tatras will be installed, which will take clients from parking lots directly to the ski slopes.

The new centre will be opened in the winter season starting soon, company spokesperson Zuzana Fabiáná said, adding that this will happen in December.
In the 2018-2019 season a starting point for the new, 15-seat cableway will be added, which will have the terminal point in Priehyba.
