The capital of Slovakia renovated the ponds, also knwon as reservoirs numbers 3 and 4, at the recreational area Železná Studnička as part of the “Bratislava Prepares for Climate Change” project, the Sme daily wrote on July 21.
The renovation focused on the inlet and take-out water-management objects which were reconstructed or built anew.
The renovated constructions will again be able to serve for filling the reservoirs, keeping their levels operational and regulating the flow rates.
