Not far from Bratislava, in the town of Kolárovo, there is a floating water mill. It is the only mill in Slovakia preserved in its original condition.
A museum of water milling is located within the mill, which is a national cultural monument.
Nearby, there is a covered wooden bridge connecting two banks of the Small Danube River dead arm. The bridge is 86 metres long and is among the longest wooden bridges in Europe.
