“Encryption plays an important role in overall security and acts like a vault protecting your company’s sensitive information as well as your personal data,” said ESET CTO Palo Luka, as quoted by TASR. “Our plan is to integrate fully the purchased technology into our products for firms and households and to develop it further.”

ESET plans to integrate DESlock+ solutions into its broad product portfolio for domestic households and firms. One of the most sensitive areas of companies’ and users’ digital lives is personal data protection. Organisations as well as the European Commission are pushing through regulations for implementing security protocols (such as encryption) when protecting the data of users.

DESlock+, based in Taunton in the UK, specialises in advanced encryption solutions. It began cooperating with ESET two years ago, when it became a part of the ESET technological alliance programme.
