The new air link will be launched on Saturday, October 10, and will become the eighth regular connection from Košice Airport. Wizz Air already offers three destinations from its Slovak base in the eastern-Slovak city, Košice – London Luton, Milan Bergamo (Italy) and Doncaster Sheffield (UK).
The new route, which was announced in August, will involve two flights per week – on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the TASR newswire wrote three days before the launch.
Wizz Air launches Košice-Bristol flights
This new connection will give passengers from eastern Slovakia the opportunity of discovering southwest England and will also attract visitors to Slovakia’s second largest city, thereby stimulating tourism and trade between the two countries, according to Wizz Air.
