THE NUMBER of foreign investors wanting to run businesses in Slovakia has been increasing; however, the
volume of invested money is lower than last year.
Economists say the number of foreign firms coming to Slovakia will be much higher than it was last year.
Shoemakers, producers of automotive parts and glass, and entertainment park developers promise to create new
jobs and bring in their expertise.
Economists estimate that foreign direct investment of between €1.1 billion and €1.8 billion could flow into
Slovakia this year.
