More of Slovakia's industrial companies expect a rise rather than a fall in production in July and August, according to a survey conducted by the Slovak Statistical Office (ŠÚSR) released on June 25. The poll was conducted last May, among 312 companies accounting for 68% of Slovakia's industrial output. Around 34% of the polled companies said they expected an increase in production in the July to August period, while 15% said their production would fall in the next two months. A rise in exports was expected by 39% of the companies, while 6% expected a decline.
