On two storeys, Fresh Market will house 25 gastronomic premises (including vegetarian ones), 34 shops and stalls with fresh foodstuff, meat and bakery products. Most of the shops will open on February 24, with the rest opening by the end of March. The new Fresh Market will be opened on Mondays to Fridays at 7:00-19:00 and on Saturdays at 7:00-14:00. It will be closed on Sundays and also state holidays, according to the Freshmarket.sk website.

The new building is located on 1A Rožňavská Street, about 50 metres from its previous location. The place is accessible by public transport (bus stops Trnavská, ŽST Nové Mesto and Haburská).

The total rentable space is 4,100 square metres. There will be 303 parking spaces in an underground garage, which is twice as much as in the old premises in the old Ikea building on Tomášikova Street, which now serves as a client centre of the Interior Ministry. Due to continuing construction works, the building and also nearby parking areas are fenced as a construction site, according to Freshmarket.sk.

There is a plan to add 600 more places in outer parking areas. They will be also used by the adjacent administrative building which is currently under construction, Etrend.sk wrote.

The construction works on Rožňavská Street started last March, with the plan to open the marketplace by the end of the year. However, they failed to meet that goal, and the new date was set to January 29. Even this deadline was not met. The construction works near Fresh Market will continue also after it is open, the website wrote.
