“We’re very pleased with the decision of Turkish Airlines to begin operating a regular line to Košice,” Košice Airport CEO Michael Tmej said, as quoted by the TASR newswire. “Turkish Airlines operates flights to many countries, with this super-wide network of 284 destinations being soon available for passengers from Košice and the nearby regions of eastern Slovakia, as well as Zakarpattia (Ukraine), north-western Hungary and south-eastern Poland.”
Košice currently has regular flight connections to Vienna, Prague, Kiev and London, along with Warsaw as of March 29.
