SOCIAL insurer Sociálna poisťovňa has decided to fight those who misuse social benefits by faking a sickness.
In 2003, the insurer shelled out Sk9.5 million (€232,430) in false sick leave payments.
It has now forwarded the suspected 1,000 cases from 2002 and 2003 to police.
