Poštová banka opens in Vienna

Poštová banka (The Postal Bank) Inc., based in Bratislava, opened a branch office in Vienna on June 5, the first branch of any Slovak bank in a German-speaking country. The branch is located on the site of Österreichische Postsparkasse Vienna which holds a 7,26 percent stake in Poštová banka. This is also the bank's first foreign branch ever, but its officials said it will soon establish another in Brno, the Czech Republic.
