The new general director of the state-run Slovenský Plynarenský Priemysel (SPP, a major gas distributor), Pavol Kinčeš, received Tierry Gless, the head of the Gaz de France branch in Slovakia, in Bratislava on December 15.
An SPP spokesman said that both officials repeated their interest in continuing cooperation between their companies. The SPP secures the transportation of 12 billion cubic meters of Russian natural gas annually to France, which accounts for about one third of France's annual consumption.
