Rattaj, co-owner of the Tatry Mountain Resorts (TMR) group, which owns also the Špindlerův Mlýn resort in the Czech Republic, and partner of the J&T Private Equity Group, is negotiating the take-over of the famous Austrian resort Kitzbühl, Rattaj told the MF Dnes daily.
In recent years, Austrian resorts have experienced financial troubles while the TMR Group as a publicly traded company boasts self-confidence and prosperity.
Rattaj has big business plans. Last year, he sold the Snowhill company that included six ski resorts and now he is seriously considering entering the prestigious Austrian market, the TASR newswire wrote at the end of May.
Similarly as with Snowhill, the financier plans to first take over Kitzbühl and other Austrian resorts as his private activity, only later to be absorbed by TMR.
