IN 2005 Slovakia transferred Sk6.2 billion less to the budget of the EU than it drew out, according to the Finance Ministry.
Slovakia drew a total of Sk20.8 billion from the EU budget last year while the country's transfers and contributions to the common purse totalled Sk14.6 billion, the SITA news agency wrote.
Slovakia drew the most funds, Sk8.5 billion, for the support of agriculture and rural development.
