Slovakofarma Hlohovec results worsen year-on-year

The drug producer Slovakofarma Hlohovec achieved worse economic results during the first half of 1998 than in the same period of 1997. According to international accounting standards (IAS), it attained a consolidated net profit of 171 million Sk ($4.89 million), which is 75 million Sk ($2.15 million) less than in 1997. The profit figure is similar to that of the first quarter of 1998. The company's revenue was 2.35 billion Sk ($67.14 million), 325 million Sk ($9.29 million) less than in 1997.
