SlSp. posts 401.6 mill. Sk net profit

Slovenská Sporiteľňa a.s., Slovakia's largest savings bank, posted a 401.6 million Sk net profit for 1996, calculated according to international accounting standards (IAS), company spokesman Stanislav Križan said on May 12. Comparative IAS results were not immediately available but the bank posted a 670.4 million Sk net profit, calculated according to Slovak accounting standards, in 1995.
