SPP-Distribúcia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Slovak gas utility (SPP), plans to invest Sk1.5 billion (€46 million) in reconstructing and constructing high-pressure, medium-pressure and low-pressure gas lines.
SPP-Distribúcia concluded agreements with about 15 mainly local firms to assist in the projects, SPP spokesperson Dana Kršáková said.
"The agreements will save time and increase efficiency," Kršáková added as quoted by the SITA newswire.
SPP-Distribúcia operates more than 30,000 kilometres of gas lines in Slovakia that it uses to deliver natural gas.
