FOLLOWING that of Russia, Slovakia's central bank (NBS) has the second highest number of employees per 100,000 inhabitants, the Slovak daily Pravda wrote on April 19.
While the Russian central bank has 56.7 employees per 100,000 inhabitants, Slovakia's proportion is 24. The NBS employs 1,332 people. The average number of central bank employees per 100,000 inhabitants in the EU is 18, the daily added.
