INTERNATIONAL company Truthheim Invest is likely to fund the completion of the new Slovak National Theatre, Finance Minister Ivan Mikloš said October 25, wrote the TASR news agency.
Truthheim Invest should provide all the funds needed to finish the project, something over Sk800 million (€20 million).
Economy Minister Pavol Rusko said that the state would not set aside any further funding for the project.
One of Truthheim Invest's largest projects in Slovakia was the reconstruction of Bratislava's Carlton hotel.
The construction of the SND building began in 1986, with an estimated original budget of Sk874 million (€21.91 million). However, the building has so far cost Sk3.4 billion (€90 million).
