US Steel pays $16 million in tax

US STEEL has paid a tax of $16 million (€13 million) to the Slovak government. The payment is related to an agreement between Slovakia and the European Commission and it resolves the issue of overproduction of steel in the company's US Steel Košice branch, SME wrote.
