SLOVAKIA’S biggest wine producer, Vitis Pezinok, is changing hands. If the deal goes ahead, its well-known wine brands Chateau Pezinok and Kláštorné, as well as Karpatské brandy, will transfer to the country’s biggest traditional producer of sparkling wine, Hubert J.E. The Antitrust Office has still to approve the purchase contract, which the companies signed two months ago. The companies have not revealed the financial details of the deal, the Pravda daily wrote.
