Bartolomej Sinai, general director of Slovak Railways (ŽSR), tendered his resignation as of June 1. "The basic conditions for managing such a big and strategically important company as ŽSR have not been created," he said. Transportation Minister Ján Jasovský accepted Sinai's resignation, but has not decided on a successor.
