Bratislava eighth in development outlook

THE SLOVAK capital Bratislava is expected to be one of the fastest-growing European cities in terms of economic output over the next decade, according to a ranking prepared by the US-based Experian consumer reporting agency.

Bratislava, with a forecast annual GDP per capita growth of 5.7 percent, ranked eighth in terms of economic development outlook until 2015, while the Czech capital Prague ranked 12th on 4.3 percent, the Pravda daily wrote.

According to Experian, the Romanian capital Bucharest should grow the fastest in the coming decade, with a GDP per capita expansion of 8.8 percent a year.
