December share sale questioned

QUESTIONS have been raised about the sale of Transpetrol pipeline operator sold December 21 - one day before the holiday closure of stock exchange.

The deal is said to be suspicious due to the price. While Transpetrol bought the shares for Sk206 a share it sold the package for Sk160 a share. Head of Stock Exchange Maria Hurajova said the deal was not yet completed as the shares' transfer is due January 9. She said that the stock exchange was investigating the circumstances of the sale.
