The prices of both petrol and diesel will increase by 40 hellers (a € cent) per litre as of Tuesday, the 'natankuj.sk' website informed on January 7.
"The prices of fuels aren't decreasing on Rotterdam's stock exchange, they are even going up slightly, which influences the fuels market in Slovakia," according to natankuj.sk analyst Tomáš Novotný.
"According to our experience, most of large companies' petrol stations will re-price fuels as early as Tuesday morning, thus bringing average prices to the new levels soon," added Novotný. The average price of diesel will move around Sk41.10 per litre, while the average price of 95-octane petrol will be Sk39.20 per litre. TASR
