Bratislava

EXHIBITION: ART from Within, a travelling exhibition from Austria, deals with the Austrian Art Brut scene. It presents art created by mentally ill people, who receive exceptional financial support for art production in Austria. Thanks to these activities, many talents were discovered and got a chance to develop under professional supervision in ateliers and studios. This resulted in exceptional works, and some artists have even collected international awards. This exhibition is the first to present the works of “outsider artists” from all nine states of Austria. The display is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10:00 and 18:00 and on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 to 18:00 until February 29. It takes place at the Austrian Culture Forum at Zelená 7 in Bratislava. For more information, call 02/5930-1533.
