The state may lose several billions crowns because it excluded higher bids from the tender for the electronic toll collection system supplier, which is also the largest ever state contract.

All the reasons but one for which the state excluded the bidders are disputable, the Sme daily wrote on July 15. All of them offered the state a better price than the current bidder.

The daily obtained the materials from unnamed sources, as the Transport Ministry repeatedly refused to provide them.

Two consortia were excluded due to the low price they offered and unclear submissions, though they tried to address all the ministry’s concerns, the daily wrote. SITA
