Output in Slovakia's construction sector grew in May 8.3 percent year-on-year. This is a drop from April, when output rose 13.5 percent, the EU Statistical Office reported on July 17.

Output in Slovakia's construction sector grew in May 8.3 percent year-on-year. This is a drop from April, when output rose 13.5 percent, the EU Statistical Office reported on July 17.

In monthly terms, construction output in Slovakia went down by 5.1 percent. According to revised data for Q1 2008, output in the construction sector swelled 12.3 percent. Compared with Q4 2007, it grew 18.8 percent. SITA
