Kramplová is surprised about Mečiar's dissatisfaction

Agriculture Minister Zdenka Kramplová (HZDS) is surprised that party chairman Vladimír Mečiar wants her removed from the post, she told the TASR newswire on August 14.

Agriculture Minister Zdenka Kramplová (HZDS) is surprised that party chairman Vladimír Mečiar wants her removed from the post, she told the TASR newswire on August 14.

She refuted Mečiar's claim that the proposal came over shadowy public procurement at the Agriculture Ministry.

"Over this, my conscience is clear. No shadowy public procurement happened at my ministry during my tenure," she said at a press conference.

According to her, the real reason for her dismissal is her success. In talks with Fico, Kramplová learned that the PM doesn't see any reason to sack her, but believes he has to respect the Coalition Treaty. TASR
