Neutral Intermodal Operator for hinterland connections from the ports of Hamburg / Bremerhaven / Koper / Rotterdam with Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia

In House: Shuttle trains - Terminals - Port agencies
All-inclusive service - door-to-door deliveries

METRANS is one of the few neutral railway operators which is offering all inclusive combined traffic.
The group has been founded in the beginning of the 90´s of the 20th century in the former Czechoslovakia.

During the years of a continuous growth and success story of the „neutrality“ and the „all inclusive“, METRANS operates per week 240 trains.
The METRANS solution connects SLOVAKIA and other 14 countries in EUROPE.
We operate 6 container terminals 24 hours a day / 7 days a week and additional 2 are under construction.

Daily METRANS makes more than 1500 road deliveries from the terminals to the clients and / or back.
METRANS offers the train connection to all major European ports – connection HAMBURG / BREMERHAVEN / KOPER / ROTTERDAM / RIJEKA.

Not only the deep sea containers are transported by METRANS, but also continental road cargo, which METRANS very successfully switched to the rail from the road. This is the connection to ROTTERDAM (connection short sea to Scandinavia, UK, Ireland) or DUISBURG. These two projects are the projects showing that it goes also combined on the continent – we think environmentally.
