CONCERT: Chick2Chick Live - Charming female group Chick2Chick Trio will perform famous songs in their own arrangement with elements of jazz and latino. Each voice of this trio is specific and their combination creates aesthetic harmony pleasing not just the eyes. Members of the trio are: Kristína Smetanová (vocals, piano), Kristína Pikus (vocals, cajon) and Zuzana Gedaiová (vocals). Visitors will get also a welcome drink. CONCERT: Fats Jazz Band - The concert is performed by a nine-member swing orchestra that revives the tradition of jazz and swing of the 1930's and 40's. The repertoire includes the most interesting pieces by the American legend Thomas „Fats“ Waller, whose name is also mentioned in the name of the band. Aditionally the band interprets also songs by other significant personalities of the jazz scene of that time such as Louis Armstrong, Teddy Wilson, Lester Young, Billie Holiday, Clarence Williams, Ella Fitzgerald and others. The orchestra plays original swing music, which will transfer their listeners into another world and bring them back to the time of gentility, elegant robes and hot parties. The concert is a part of Festival Music Square, which is created by extraordinary concerts on the Main Square dedicated to classical, jazz, folk, swing and promenade music. Starts: Jul 10, 20:00, Main Square. PARTY: Rock'n'Roll Night - Energetic selection of rock’n’roll songs from vinyl will be performed by trio The Ugly Selectors. Visitors can await quality hits that stand the test of time. The Ugly Selectors is a group of vinyl enthusiasts from Bratislava and its members are Herry, Frenky and Basha. They regularly entertain audiences at home and also abroad by their selection. CLASSICAL MUSIC: Mischa Maisky - Recitál/ Recital - Mischa Maisky belongs among world‘s most famous and the most desirable artists in the field of classical music. He will perform a solo recital accompanied by his daughter - pianist Lily Maisky in the framework of the twelfth year of festival Viva Musica! 2016. Mischa Maisky studied with two legendary Russian cellists - Gregor Piatigorský and Mstislav Rostropovič, who described him as one of the greatest talents of his generation. CONCERT: City of Leeds Youth Orchestra (GB) - This is one of the concerts for Cancer Research Foundation in support of the 14th Campaign On Wheels Against Cancer and it is a part of Cultural Summer and Castle Festival Bratislava 2016. Programme includes two examples of the famous operetta by Franz Lehár - The Merry Widow, Overture and the famous song about Vilja performed by singer Megan Holch (mezzosoprano). Soloist Tom Pritchard will play with the orchestra a composition by contemporary French composer Emmanuel Sejourne Concerto for Marimba. The concert includes also works by famous composers such as Bedřich Smetana, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and others. The orchestra is led by Dougie Scarfe. OUTDOOR: Tvrďák/ Tvrdak Race - This is an obstacle race for 5 km + and 15 + barriers, where it is possible to test your endurance, strength and patience in overcoming difficult natural and artificial obstacles. Competitors can race individually or in a team composed of at least three racers. After the race it will be possible to join several fitness disciplines such as tug of war, pull-ups, pulling cars and more. FESTIVAL: Medzinárodný mládežnícky hudobný festival & Slovakia Folk 2016/ International Youth Music Festival & Slovakia Folk 2016 – This time the festival is a connection of choir, orchestra and all kinds of dance art not excluding folklore. Ensembles from all around the world will help create the good atmosphere of the Bratislava Cultural Summer and Castle Festival by their songs, dance, traditional culture and spontaneous performances. ART COURSE: Voľná maľba/ Free Painting - Studio of Free Painting is dedicated to all painting enthusiasts. It is possible to bring your own template, theme or idea of painting. A pattern can be a photograph, reproduction from a book or printed picture. The theme can be landscape, portrait, a copy of a famous picture, holiday pictures or old family photos. FESTIVAL: Bratislavský organový festival 2016/ Bratislava Organ Festival 2016 - The fifth year of Bratislava Organ Festival will present the organ a little differently this time. It will be possible to see it in combination with vocals and baroque trumpet, in the extravagant position affecting up to the borders of pop music, in improvisation project with a reciter, but of course also in the classic and royal discipline - the big organ reciter. The last concert of the festival is titled Grand Recital and it will be performed by Stéphane Béchy (organ) from France. The program of the concert consists of works by composers such as N. Lebègue, J.-F. Dandrieu, F. Couperin or  J. S. Bach. Starts: Jul 10, 19:00; St. Martin's Cathedral. MARKET: Ríbezľový Devín/ Devín Currant - This is the first gastronomy event in one of the districts of Bratislava - Devín. Visitors can taste and purchase wines from redcurrants and blackcurrants as well as also the actual fruit, currants with sugar, jam, syrups, souffle and other baked goods, ice-cream and so on. A hit will be surely the currant stormy wine. The programme consists of musical groups, groups of historical fencing, theatres, children's program or Velo Orbis - International meeting of Velocipede on historical bicycles. Exhibitions

EXHIBITION: Stano Filko: Poézia o priestore - kozme/ Poetry on space - Cosmos - The exhibition presents creation of thinking of Stano Filko in the 1960s and 70s, enriched in recent works, layers of author’s intervention and retrospective semantic arrangement. The name of the exhibition created by three words, crucial for Stano Filko, is derived from the eponymous environment exhibited at EXPO 1970 in Osaka, Japan. It was the place where his previous artistic accomplishments and travel plans culminated. The exhibition presents more than 150 works and two archival binders with about 120 works. It is a multimedia exhibition and includes also sculptures, objects, sound-artworks on vinyl records and much more. Open: Tue - Wed, Fri - Sun 10:00 - 18:00, Thu 12:00 - 20:00 until Sep 25, Esterházy Palace, 3th floor, atrium. EXHIBITION: No Comment - The exhibition curated by Ľubica Stanek presents press photography and caricatures, which were logged in the twelfth year of the competition Journalism Award. It displays dramatic moments from last year in Paris, fights in Ukraine and refugees. Same topics make us laugh through the view of caricaturists, offering a space for reflection at a distance. The contestants competed in two categories: The best photo, won by Juraj Mravec, and the best Czech-Slovak joke, comics, caricature. The winner in the latter category is Czech caricaturist VHRSTI. EXHIBITION: Inšpiratívne a kreatívne leto pre deti v Bibiane/ Inspiring and Creative Summer for Children in Bibiana - Four new exhibitions are prepared: Umenie záhrady/ The Art of The Garden (The exhibition will bring a piece of little-known history, where and why first gardens were created and how they have changed during the centuries), Živé mesto/ The Living city (Children will watch the “bowels” of  the city and learn how the the whole city does it work), Kuk na Zvuk /Peekaboo at the Sound (Discovering facts and curiosities about the acoustics is the main mission of this small but interesting interactive exhibition), Európske rozprávky/ European Tales (The exhibition points out similarities among the different cultures and common basis of European culture). Open: Tue - Sun 10:00 - 18:00 until: Jul 3 (European Tales ), others until Sep 25. Highlights of the year

STAND-UP COMEDY: Bill Bailey (Black Books) - Limboland - The actor and stand-up comedian, important representative of the legendary sitcom Black Books, Bill Bailey will come to Bratislava after a tour in the UK, sold-out performances in Singapore and Hong Kong and a tour in Australia and New Zealand with his new live show Limboland. This time his stand-up comedy will include deep existential themes of modern man. Bill Bailey is described by critics as one of the best and most outstanding comedians today. CONCERT: Jean-Michel Jarre - Electronica Tour 2016 - Jean-Michel Jarre will return to the road after six years with the show titled Electronica. First he will play chosen European summer festivals and then he will visit large halls from October.
