WORKSHOP: Scenic and oriental dance – This event offers a workshop by the Czech dancer Andalee or under her real name - Alžbeta Tvrdoňová, who is dedicated to various kinds of oriental dance. The lesson will be focused on scenic and oriental dance and their connection on stage, theory and a short choreography using a veil. Login is needed online here. CONCERT: Preßburger Klezmer Band – The first concert of the Preßburger Klezmer Band for this year brings a mixture of Jewish, Balkan and oriental music, as well as Slovak and Gypsy folk together with styles such as jazz, reggae and latino. INTERNATIONAL PROJECT: Workshop and saxophone orchestra – Saxophobia Bratislava 2017 are international saxophone master classes for students from conservatories and universities. There will be four teachers, who will share their knowledge: Oto Vrhovnik from Austria, Phillippe Portejoie from France, Lev Pupis from Slovenia, Ryszard Żołędziewski from Poland and Alexander Stepanov from Slovakia. CLASSICAL MUSIC: Wagner, Beethoven and Franck – The Slovak Philharmonic presents a concert created from oeuvres by famous composers: Richard Wagner, Ludwig van Beethoven and César Franck. INDOOR: Paintball Battle – This colourful and adventurous game is to be held in the former Matador tyres factory. The paintball match will last for three hours and can accommodate 40 people. EXHIBITION: Archive of 110 selected press photos - Krzysztof Gierałtowski is a Polish photographer who has dedicated more than 30 years to taking portraits of personalities from Polish culture, science, politics and intelligence. His oeuvres can be seen in the exhibition named the Ring, which includes 110 selected archival black and white press photos of chosen people. Highlights of the year

SHOW: Ceasar Millan - Kynolog and dog trainer Ceasar Millan will visit Bratislava within his European tour called the Ceasar Millan Live Tour 2017. COMEDY SHOW: Michael Winslow – the Popular US comedian (Police Academy, Space Balls, Gremlins) will perform in Bratislava, bringing his show full of sound imitations, music, storytelling, and even a special version of the final battle scene from Star Wars. SHOW: Cirque du Soleil – The well-known international artistic group, Cirque du Soleil, comes again to Slovakia and for the first time they present their seven performances of the story named Varekai. It begins with a scene about a lonely man who flies down from the sky to wander around the border of reality and absurdity in a world, where miracles happen. CONCERT: Vanessa-Mae - British violin virtuoso Vanessa-Mae comes back to Bratislava after ten years and her performance will be accompanied by 40 Czech musicians from the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra, Prague including vocalists. CONCERT: Andrea Bocelli – One of the greatest artists of Opera, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, has recorded 15 studio albums and three Greatest hits albums over his more than 25-year-long career. The holder of the Golden Globe in the category of song for The Prayer in the animated film The Magic Sword, who last year released his most recent album named Cinema, comes to Bratislava.
