CONCERT: Dire Straits Experience – This year is the 40th anniversary of the time that famous song Sultans of Swing created by Dire Straits was broadcasted worldwide on radio. The group as part of their world tour will come to Bratislava. The group‘s current members are saxophonist Chris, singer and guitarist Trence Reis, drummer Chris Witten, guitarist Tim Walters, bassist Paul Geary, pianists Simon Carter and Danny Schogger. CONCERT: Thundercat – American multi-genre bass guitarist, producer and singer Stephen Brunner well-known as Thundercat will be in Bratislava during his world tour within the programme City Sounds presenting famous musicians. He is inspired by the 70's and the style of his music belongs to jazz fusion. Thundercat cooperated with Kendrick Lamar on his critically acclaimed 2015 album To Pimp a Butterfly. CONCERT: Bill Laurance – The tenth year of the Spring Bratislava Jazz Days brings the Grammy awarded musician Bill Laurance. This jazz pianist, founder and member of the group Snarky Puppy released his debut album named Flint in 2014. MUSICAL: West Side Story – The famous musical in its original version comes during its world tour to Bratislava for the frst time, performed by Broadway artists on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of its three creators. OPERA: Premiere of The Jewess - A five-act opera composed by a French composer Jacques Fromental Halévy, led by Robert Jindra and Dušan Štefánek and directed by Peter Konwitschny. COURSE: Face Yoga in English - The course is dedicated to face yoga, where visitors will learn how to look younger, without resorting to scalpel and botox through activities such as the principles of natural anti-ageing methods, a basic set of exercises for every-day practice for face muscles, face massage and individual advice. Highlights of the year

SHOW: Cirque du Soleil – The well-known international artistic group, Cirque du Soleil, comes again to Slovakia and for the first time they present their seven performances of the story named Varekai. It begins with a scene about a lonely man who flies down from the sky to wander around the border of reality and absurdity in a world, where miracles happen.
