PARTY: DJ Kura – Portuguese DJ Kura is one of the most hyping DJs and producers now. He cooperates with names like Hardwell, Tiesto, Nicky Romero, Afrojack and Armin Van Buuren. CONCERT: Piano Gala – Four pianos, eight pianists and 16 hands. A Piano Gala evening brings the best of Slovak piano music. EVENT: French day 2017 – The fifth year celebrating the French holiday, Bastille Day, in Bratislava is organized by the French embassy. The event offers a cultural programme and a market selling French products and food. Starts: Jul 14, 14:00, Hlavné námestie. More info:

EXHIBITION: Erik Šille – Error – The exhibition presents an overview of Erik Šille’s art; a man who belongs among the most successful painters of the middle generation. EXHIBITION: Stano Filko 2037 – An exhibition dedicated to one of the most significant but unfortunately deceased Slovak artists to mark the occasion of his 80th birthday. EXHIBITION: Like at home – The exhibition reflects the main influences on Slovak sculpture of the 20th and 21st century. EXHIBITION: Every family has its own story – A unique project presents family treasures and family stories from twenty members of Bratislava’s Jewish community from different generations. EXHIBITION: Obrazy a sochy (Paintings and statues) – Vladimír Kompánek, sculptor and painter, is the most famous protagonist of Galandovci and at the same time one of the most charismatic people of the Slovak painting scene of the second half of 20th century. EXHIBITION: Don Quixote – The exhibition presents the character of Don Quijote that became the inspiration for many artistic pieces, not only in literature. EXHIBITION: Dorota Sadovská: Yellow Embrace - Exhibition entitled Žlté objatie/ Yellow Embrace created by Slovak artist Dorota Sadovská presents her new installation, where visitors will have a chance to enter the spatial installation and feel as if they are in an actual “embrace”. IN-LINE: Inline skating – Approximately one thousand in-line skaters and also cyclists, people with scooters and skateboards can travel the roads that normally belong to cars on Friday night. TRAINING: Zumba in English Every Tuesday – Not a dance lesson, but rather a party which the organisers call the Zumba dance. Organised by Internationals Bratislava, a non-profit organisation that brings people together from all around the world living or visiting Bratislava, regardless of their cultural origin. Highlights of the year

DANCING: Swing party – This favourite swing-dance party is connected with the battle of two of the best Czech-Slovak big bands. The fifth year of this annually sold out event brings an opportunity to dance to world-famous orchestras the Bratislava Hot Serenaders and the Melody Makers Ondřeja Havelku. FESTIVAL: Uprising – The festival is amongst the biggest in central Europe for the reggae music genre. During two days, different artists from reggae, dancehall, ska, latino, hip-hop, dub, dubstep, ragga-jungle and dnb music styles will perform on the stage. CONCERT: Apocalyptica – This tour will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the launching of Plays Metallica with Four Cellos. CONCERT: Andrea Bocelli – One of the greatest artists of Opera, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, has recorded 15 studio albums and three Greatest hits albums over his more than 25-year-long career. The holder of the Golden Globe in the category of song for The Prayer in the animated film The Magic Sword, who last year released his most recent album named Cinema, comes to Bratislava.
