A new type of Boeing plane, the 737 MAX 8, landed at M.R. Štefánik airport in Bratislava on the night of February 3, 2018. It arrived from Oman, the airport spokesperson, Veronika Ševčíková, informed.

“It is characterised by more economical performance and a new type of winglets,” she added. The new plane engines can save about one-tenth of the fuel compared to older machines. The airplane has more comfortable seats, too, with more space for cabin baggage.
