Bratislava was nominated among 20 of the most favourite tourist destination of 2019 and the capital is competing to win the title of “European Best Destination 2019", as reported by the Bratislava Tourist Board.
The Bratislava Tourist Board and its partners decided to support this candidacy and show the world that Bratislava has attractions to show off.
“We are happy that the negative mood spreading in Slovakia has not spread to the world and that there are people who see the positive energy of the city, and view our capital as an interesting non-traditional destination that is attractive and safe,” the organization stated, as quoted by the TASR newswire.
It is possible to vote for Bratislava by February 5 also via the website www.visitbratislava.com/hlasuj. Voting is organized via the website of the European Best Destinations organizations with headquarters in Brussels, which supports tourism in Europe.
