Kvačianska Valley is located in the region of Liptov near Kvačany, the favourite spot of many tourists. Visitors return here due to the peaceful environment in the mountains, the interesting rocky formation, breathtaking views of the valley from a platform that is 70 metres high and scenic Oblazy water mills.

The walk is not demanding, and it is appropriate also for families with children and older people. It takes about an hour to reach the water mills from Kvačany carpark.

The water mills are still in operation. There are signs in English that briefly explains the part a visitor is walking through. Visitors can sit on wooden benches by a stream but be aware of the greedy goats that might be interested in stealing your snack.

Not far from the water mills, there is the Ráztocký Waterfall, which is accessible in five minutes.

There is also the possibility of doing an excursion of the Kvačianska and Prosiecka Valleys. In this case, we recommend starting at Prosiek, walking through Prosiecka Valley, which offers spectacular views, waterfalls and ladders, then returning via Kvačianska Valley. The whole excursion takes about five hours.
