Travelling in Bratislava and its vicinity cheaper thanks to mobile apps

The discount is only temporary.

Traveling via the Integrated Transportation System (IDS) scheme in and around Bratislava has become cheaper from July 1. When purchasing a ticket via mobile applications passengers save €0.1, while this discount is automatic with each transaction, IDS informs on its website.

“The aim of Bratislava’s Integrated Transportation System is to increase the attractiveness of public transport in the whole region,” said Zuzana Horčíková, general director of IDS, adding that this is why they agreed with the partner MasterCard on a discount. “We believe that also thanks to this the number of people preferring public transport to individual transport by car will increase.”
