Ryanair, the Irish low-cost carrier, will return to Košice airport in summer 2020 after it scrapped its flights from Košice in this year's winter schedule.

“We are pleased to announce a new connection between Košice and London Stansted starting in April 2020,” Olga Pawlonka, Ryanair’s sales and marketing manager for CEE and Balkans, said, as quoted in the press release.
The first plane should, therefore, take off on April 1 as part of the summer schedule.
Stansted to replace Southend
“The London flights have long been our most successful destination and still has a high growth potential,” Košice Airport general director Michael Trnej said, as quoted in the press release.
