A new investment will be made in Piešťany, western Slovakia. The government has approved an incentive of €2 million for Porsche, the TASR newswire reported.

The German car producer, owned by Volkswagen, is planning on building a new technology centre, focusing on automatisation and robotisation of car production in Horná Streda, near Pieštany.
Porsche is expected to invest, through its subsidiary Porsche Werkzeugbau in Dubnica nad Váhom, nearly €13.6 million by 2020. It should employ 34 workers in the village by 2023.
In the new centre, the company will develop and verify the manufacturability of components and prepare prototypes of production equipment for the car industry.
