On Wednesday, Bratislava started regulated parking in another part of the Ružinov borough.
Bratislava Parking Assistant (PAAS), as Bratislava's parking policy is called, is being introduced in the Štrkovec area.
Parking in this zone will only be possible with a valid PAAS parking card or after paying a fee.
Štrkovec is bordered by Bajkalská, Ružinovská, Tomášikova and Trnavská Cesta streets. Drivers will have to pay €1.50 an hour to park in the RU3 - Štrkovec zone from midday to midnight on working days.
PAAS, which Bratislava describes as one of the biggest reforms in the capital, was launched at the beginning of last year initially in three zones - Tehelné Pole in Nové Mesto borough, Dvory 4 in Petržalka borough and Krasňany in Rača borough.
The city is gradually introducing regulated parking in other locations as well. More were added this year, for example in Petržalka, Ružinov, Staré Mesto and Nové Mesto.
